While at school, students are expected to:

- wear their masks at all times when in the hallways, at the office, in the bathrooms and at the fountains

- wear their masks in the classrooms when working within six feet of anyone else, when working at a table with a partner, or when receiving instruction on the floor

- ensure they are not facing anyone, talking with anyone, or walking around when they are taking mask breaks within the classroom.  (ALL classroom teachers provide mask breaks to students throughout the day.)

- wear their masks when socializing on the playground, but keep them around their arm or in their pocket if they are exerting themselves during physical activity outside

- respect the adults that are speaking to them about putting their masks on and following the guidelines.  (In the event that a student repeatedly and intentionally fails to follow guidelines, the school may respond with CBE's Progressive discipline regulations.)

- keep an extra LABELLED mask or two in their backpacks in case they lose them or in case they get dirty

- allow adults to determine who should be wearing masks and understand that for medical reasons, some students have mask exemptions

Please see the Non-Medical Face Mask Guidelines for additional details.  [/calgary/emailattachment.php?id=145870&caid=191450&name=Non-Medical-Face-Mask-Guidelines.pdf]Non-Medical-Face-Mask-Guidelines.pdf
