Highlights:

• Today we learned the sound for 'wh'. Ask me what kinds of words have this sound.
• In Social Studies we learned about mapping. I can tell you what N, E, S, W on a compass means. 
• In Math, we created our own Splat! activity. Ask me to tell you what Splat! is.
• For Literacy, we talked about opinion writing. We talked about our favourite food and did our writing using OREO. Ask me what OREO means and how it connects to our opinion!

We are super excited to announce that our online NLS Spirit T-Shirt and Hoodie order form is now open and will arrive prior to the Winter Break!  We are offering sized from Youth to Adult to outfit the whole family!  $15 for T-Shirts and $25 for Hoodies (regardless of the size ordered).
