 Highlights:

• Today in Art we created a warm colour tree. We used an art technique called Pointilism. Ask me what the technique is!
• In Math, we did a Splat! activity and practiced our growing patterns on a 100's chart.
• In P.E. we practiced our ball skills of throwing and catching.

NORTHERN LIGHTS SCHOOL ‘VIRTUAL PUMPKIN PATCH’ 

Families from Coventry Hills School have participated in their annual ‘Pumpkinella’ display for many years.  To honour this tradition, but in a way that meets our Covid-19 precautions, we will be coordinating a ‘Virtual Pumpkin Patch’. Families wishing to participate can design, carve, decorate or dress up a pumpkin and send a picture of it to Mrs. Brinson at mlbrinson@cbe.ab.ca by Tuesday, October 27.  We will then put all of the pictures together into an NLS Pumpkin Patch iMovie that teachers can show in their classrooms on Thursday, October 29 and that we can send out to families with the Northern Lights News on Friday, October 30.  We hope your family gets together for some family time and joins in the fun!
