Monday, Feb. 1

Highlights:

• In Art we created winter trees using oil pastel and water colours. We used the crayon resist method to create our pictures.
• We welcomed two new students into our class today! We are excited to have them.
• For Literacy, we did some writing about thick and thin questions. Ask me what the difference is between the two types of questions.
• In Math, we used base 10 blocks and learned how to add numbers together.

• Feb. 2 – Northern Lights School Report Cards available ONLINE through your Parent PowerSchool Account 
• Feb. 3 – Winter Walk Day. We will be doing a short community walk. Students are reminded to dress appropriately for this.
• Feb. 4 – Spirit Day – Toque Day
