Tuesday, June 1

Highlights:
  • Today in Math we worked on measuring the distance around objects. We used nonstandard units to figure out how long something is. 
  • In Literacy, we explored the features of non-fictions texts. We started to plan our own non-fiction writing about an animal of our choice.
  • For PE, we were able to go outside again and we played kickball. Mr. B also taught us a new game!
  • In Science, we talked about floaters and sinkers. Ask me what happened when we put an orange in water.
  • For Word Work we continued looking at different word endings such as -er, -ing, -ed, and -s. 
Reminders:
  • Tomorrow is our Career Day spirit day. Students are welcome to dress up as any career that they would like!
