Highlights:

• Today in Literacy, we did a how to writing activity. We also use Lego to do a following instructions activity. One partner was the builder and the other had to give instructions on how to make something. This practiced our listening skills and our how to instructions.
• In Math, we practiced fact families. We created the facts for equations such as 3+12 = 15. Ask me what is one fact that would belong in this house. 
• For Social, we talked about the Inuit festivals and the clothing that they wear in the arctic.
• In P.E. we practiced our throwing and catching and played two new games!

• Jan. 26 – Spirit Day: Bring Your Favourite Book to Share for Drop Everything and Read 
• Jan. 26 – School Council Meeting at 6:00pm 
• Jan. 27 – Family Literacy Day 
• Jan. 28 – Spirit Day: Dress as Your Favourite Book Character Day (There are lots of easy to make ideas on Google) 
• Jan. 29 – Non-Instruction Day - No school for students
