Highlights:

• Today was Drop Everything and Read Day! We had a lot of fun reading our different books. Here are some pictures of when we had to DEAR during Math.

• In Math we continued practicing our fact families and looking at how subtraction and addition are connected. We did some practice questions where we had to figure out the missing numbers in the fact family.
• For Literacy, we wrote and shared about our favourite books. We then presented our favourite books to each other. We have also been watching video clips of the teachers and staff at NLS sharing their favourite books. Below is a display of their books and also the books that our class chose as favourites!

• In Science, we explored the items around the classroom that were magnetic and not magnetic. We also looked at how magnets can push and pull things such as a car. We had some fun races with our magnetic cars!
